Artist statement
Sabina Button is a retired art teacher.She looks to the handwork of our mothers, aunts and grandmothers for inspiration. She looks to the discard bin for the materials. It is a joy to rework, to give new life to discarded materials and reduce our footprint on our planet. All designs began as something else and are original.
